Lock Replacement After Door Damage This NYC apartment door had clear pry damage on the door and frame beside the old brass lock. Our locksmith replaced it with a new satin-finish mortise lever lockset. If your door shows marks like these, get the lock checked even if it still turns.
Storefront Paddle Handle Replacement Not every locksmith call is about a lock. The pull-paddle unit on this New York storefront door came out in pieces; that's the old housing, spindle and screws on the sidewalk. A new paddle assembly went back on so the aluminum door latches with a normal pull again.
Commercial Leverset Repair Commercial leverset repair near E 116th St & 5th Ave. The lever on this steel service door had stopped operating reliably, and the door edge around the latch showed wear. We repaired the leverset and checked that the latch catches every time the door closes.
